We have designed this exciting new model to embody the characteristics of the great vintage NY Meyers with the added control and response qualities that Drake has become know for. The rollover baffle transitions to a gradual floor slope that delivers the air column at a carefully calibrated angle to give maximum projection and depth of tone. The medium "venturi" type chamber also contributes to a controled evenness of timbre through the registers. The beak angle and body dimensions have also been design for optimal embouchure comfort and beauty.

Handmade from Drake's specially engineered Vintage Resin, this long awaited addition to our product line brings yet another depth of expression, color, control and clarity to the Tenor Saxophone. This model has been specifically designed for its versatility as a Jazz or R&B / Funk mouthpiece. You will find that it's range of tonal qualities is rich and evenly balance with a huge projection potential. Each mouthpiece is hand faced with a hand finished rollover baffle contour by Aaron Drake, and includes the VR Double Rail ligature.

Testing

It is also possible to playtest a mouthpiece or instrument during these 15 days. The next rules apply in this case if you return items to us:

please inform us before we ship off so that we can put a patch on the mouthpiece
Items have to be complete, undamaged and free from traces of use.
items have to be returned in the original packing.
The costs for shipment back are for the customer.
